Multi-platinum Canadian country music artist, Male Artist of the Year at both the 2008 and 2009 CCMA Awards, 2013 Juno Award-winner for Country Album of the Year “Fire It Up”, John (Johnny) Kirkland Reid, better known as Johnny Reid was born in Scotland and moved to Canada in 1988 at the age of 13.

Johnny Reid released seven studio albums, five of which gone Platinum, including Top Selling Canadian Album - “Kicking Stones” (2007) and Album of the Year and Top Selling Canadian Album by Canadian Country Music Association, as well as Country Album of the Year by Juno Awards of 2010 – “Dance with Me” (2009) and “Born to Roll” (2005).

Reid put out two Christmas albums, including CAN Platinum “Christmas” (2009) and “A Christmas Gift to You” (2013) as well as numerous music videos, including Videos of the Year by Canadian Country Music Association - "A Woman Like You" and "Today I'm Gonna Try and Change the World".

Johnny Reid produced astonishing guest single together with the artist Terri Clark "You Tell Me" included in the album “The Long Way Home”.
